Hang Gliding at Cape Kiwanda, Oregon, 6-23-09. Once again, I'm flying my Falcon 2 225, trying to eliminate the cross-controlling and prepare for higher altitudes. The wind at the top of the dune was smooth and steady at 12-15 mph from the NW. My launches and landings are feeling pretty strong in these easy conditions. I flared with my wings slightly unlevel on the first flight. I launched with my wings slightly unlevel on my second flight. Okay all of you experts out there, am I ready for Dog, or Oceanside, or Saddle, or any other big scary place yet?
