Well, I'm a sound engineer/musician/electronics tech and this tone measures exactly 528 cycles according to my frequency counter and my oscilloscope. So YES this is 528Hz.

@ginafroma ...you and @jazzey69 need to do your research on Horowitz and the so-called ancient solfeggio scale or frequencies. I recommend you look up "Bursting The Solfeggio Myth", you should find a video with a similar title that explains what you need to know. Jamie Buturff explains this well, too, look him up here. C is 523-hz when your A is 440-hz, but C is also 512-hz when your A is 432-hz... which 512-hz was a tuning used by Mozart, amongst others. Do your own research, folks.

@jazzey69 The regular C that we all know of in this culture (which is from the diatonic scale of do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, do) is not the 528 Hz frequency C.

A regular C vibrates at a frequency of 523.3 Hz.

The C of 528 Hz used for DNA repair is part of an ancient scale called the Solfeggio Scale.

I am all for 432 hz tuned instruments. This 528 has not been proven and should be studied more carefully before touting claims of healing. From what I have seen I believe Len Horowitz was slipped this knowledge to descredit him. He openly shares knowledge of project paperclip & yet Goebbels pushed forward changing frequencies in instruments in 1936ish. As a subltle act of war. So many music artists suffered heavily from this like dentists suffeer most from dealing with mercury.
