Alaska Flag Song

Alaska's Flag was designed by a 7th Grader, Benny Benson. Benny was an Aleut boy that lived in a boys school and a true Alaskan. see http://www.alaska.edu/opa/eInfo/index.xml?StoryID=186 for a better explanation. That was also the source for the picture of Benny and his original flag.

I have no rights to this song and believe it to be in the public domain. As seen in the comments, this rendition is believed to be by Alaska Chamber Singers. The Alaska Flag song is posted here for the enjoyment of my family and friends.

My Grandfather and Grandmother both lived in Alaska in 1943 to 1952 where my grandfather worked on the Alaska Railroad. They came back to the lower 48 in 1952 before Alaska became our 49th state...they moved back to New York State to be closer to family and do to my grandmother getting home sick so they moved back. I love the Alaska state song it's diffrent from other states and it's very cool to listen to, I can help to sing along.
