Dick Blumenthal prosecuted many for lying and defrauding, an ironic twist on his own character flaw, now exposed. Can CT voters be stupid enough to elect him in November? I hope not.
He's kind of strange looking, isn't he?

He's proud of his service in the US Marine Corps Reserve. (Oorah, Hooah). Not only that, but he's proud of his service in the US Marine Corps Reserve (Hooah). Now on a few occasions, he has misspoken about his service (Hooah), but didn't realize anyone was paying attention and he's not going to allow anyone to take a few of his lies and impugn his record, but he's proud. He's also a LYING SACK OF SHIT WHO WAS NEVER WORTHY TO WEAR THE EAGLE, GLOBE AND ANCHOR, nor are the pukes behind him.

"Unlike many of my peers, I chose to join the Military and serve my country." YOU SORRY HUMAN BEING. You placing yourself above those who were drafted and deployed to Vietnam and died for their country. YOU JOINED THE RESERVES and NEVER SERVED IN VIETNAM! Then went on to LIE about doing so. How are you still a candidate for the US Senate? I thought lying about your military service was unlawful? YOU SHOULD BE IN JAIL!

This liar tries to embellish his military experience by inserting "Viet Nam" in his speeches but was nothing other than a wannabe. As a Navy veteran myself, I would never lie about my service experience. He is a disgrace to his country and his state. CT don't reward this coward with a Senate seat. We have enough cowards there already.
My brother quit college in 1968 and joined the army to avoid the draft. He was given a 3 year enlistment as a "spec". He played the trumpet. He was told at enlistment that this would keep him out of Vietnam. That was his objective. He was mostly stationed around Maryland and used to play taps at funerals. He has somehow managed in the past 40 or so years to never give anyone the mistaken impression that he was in Vietnam. He must be some kind of genius, my brother. Who knew?

Just a few misplaced words?? It looks like this speech used very carefully crafted words, i.e. the word proud used seven times. It is one thing to be proud. It is quite another to give the impression, directly or indirectly, that you served in a combat zone when it is just not true. In another video, Dick Blumenthal not only misspoke, but point blank said that he was a returning Vietnam veteran. It is difficult for me to perceive how he can characterize his words as misspeaking.
