@musicianjoelin Actually, the episodes after the movie were supposedly set before the movie, so they couldn't fail continuation too much, even though they did horrendously. :P

@CMF2790 Theory: At the end of the movie, Spongebob finally made his decision to become the manager and gave up being the kid. After that, the restaurant somehow closed itself due to financial problems. Spongebob lost his MANAGER title. Moreover, Spongebob lost his KID position, too. Therefore, Spongebob seems a little bit too mature in later episodes.

Spongebob was kinda derpy in the first episodes i gotta admit but man did it get so much better, Patrick was the best imo, but then the movie happened and then they turned gay or something. *with a bone for a head* I don't get it
