Final adoption of Ordinance 884

At the March 3, 2009 meeting of the Riverside County Board of Supervisors, Ordinance 884 "regulating targeted residential protests" was debated and adopted by a 4-1 vote. Supervisors Stone, Tavaglione, Wilson, and Ashley voted in favor, Supervisor Buster dissented.

The international headquarters of the Church of Scientology are located at a compound called "Golden Era Productions", aka "Gold Base", in Gilman Hot Springs near Hemet, in Supervisor Jeff Stone's district.

  • Buster is the only board member that takes into consideration citizens' rights on a neutral level. Everyone else seems to be leaning toward Scientology, and circling back to the same debunked arguments while ignoring any new counter-evidence.
