Video FAQ's from director Henry Schofield:
How long did it take to make?
It took about 3 weeks in all to make, with about 5 days of shooting and a couple of nights in clubs getting very strange looks from punters who were wondering what the fuck we were doing.
How many post it notes did you use?
In all it was about 1,800 post it notes... which is a lot... especially when photographing each one.
How did you do the underwater scene?
First we prepared the animation of the stickman swimming on individual post its (as with the rest). Then we laminated all of these and cut them up individually. We found a fantastic underwater photographer who was up for the project... though it took a bit of explaining. When underwater we stuck the laminated post its to a bit of perspex one by one and animated the movement in steps. It took about 6 hours and got a bit cold.
