This song to me will always be about my friends growing up. We graduated high school in 2009, none of us came from families with money so military was a way to get schooled and get away from home. A few guys chose the walk on part, none of them came back the same. One of them didn't even comeback at all. I chose the cage, I've been struggling everyday since. All the guys who went are struggling at home too but they also have to live with the shit they saw. Maybe someday life will be easy for us.
