I don't know why this took me so long to see, new job and all that. The thing is, my question what based on what he represents to others your answer was about what he is to you, specifically. Mr. Landis is hardly someone I would be wanting a character reference from in any shape or form.
@Beano38 Ultimately, in response to your question, yes it does. He may be a god of sorts to you, but he is a false god who has succeeded in cycling by cheating. To me he personifies everything corrupt within cycling. Now Floyd Landis has shone some light into how he actually cheated.
I presume no-one in that article has any hidden agendas and that that can be proven.
The fact remains that people have faith in Lance and he is a symbol of hope for many who would otherwise have none, so, if he lends hope and helps even 1 person remain strong through their fight with cancer, does that make them a muppet?
He's a cheat, plain and simple. Idolised by muppets that refuse to believe anything other than 'the legend'. type michael ashenden and velocity nation into google and read the article that comes up.
comac1983 what you say? You should have little respect for a man who suffered a cancer. Why doesn't Armstrong throw in the towel? He has a heart of a champion.

Lazy statement. Stolen straight from the poisoned pen of that muppet Paul Kimmage.
