  • QUESTION The song played in this trailer with the rolling stone background, anyone knows what song it is? Is it from rolling stones or from another act?

  • @mysonywalkman1978 It's Rolling Stones' Miss You

  • where has all the good times gon????

    MTV is Music Television.

Take a look at it now. What do you get?

    Mostly NOT MUSIC anyway.

Loved it for its music back in 1986-93 circa.

By the way, who does'nt remember COCO-COLA Euro Chart top 50 on SKY-CHANNEL, around 1987.

T'pau, mel & kim, wax, and many many others.

    I was 14 then.

    Thanx Daniel From Sweden.

  • thanx for preserving this! I was 13 at this time and watched MTV every day! God I miss this channel

  • @wczorajdzonson24 Thank u very much. MTV mixed up "miss you" with a scene from the video clip "It's only rock''N'roll" and thus, I've searched without results the line that I now understand "Whats the matter with you boy?"

  • Eighth Wonder - I'm not scared, Wham! Club Tropicana and Human Leagues - Keep Feeling Fascination: I always liked these songs and saw the related videos first time in this show (We had no internet) after long long recording hundreds of E240 tapes via timer

  • @peterhopqk ... and the teletext page listed only 6 songs of the show, but there were always 12-13 songs (very little advertisements). I miss this show like crazy. It was broadcasted till Feb 97 and played the most loved songs of Europe 70s/80s/90-93. Also rare songs and one hit wonders. Here in Germany, you hear on radio the same crap oldies again and again, they only know "I will survive" and songs to be played when drunk. BFBS radio 1 or VH1 classic still mix up good oldies.

  • MTV Europe was the best;pan-european on satellite across Europe and beyond, available in over 30 countries and totally free without subscription with various european subtitles, look at MTV now-it's rather a parody and pale shadow of itself with country specific versions on satellite not the happy european family audience of fans and viewers it had, limited by subscription and not widely available!

  • Thanks for uploading this. I was having a conversation with some friends last night about how iconic these 90s promos were, and how good MTV was in the 90s. So good to see this again. Good work.

  • I always watched MTV Greatest Hits when I got home from school. I was 9-10 years old so I didn't really care much bout the older songs, I just waited for Music Non Stop to begin :) Buyt today I miss this program like crazy. I'm so thankful I grew up in the 90's.

  • That used to be a great MTV, but it`s gone...

  • When MTV was Music Television. Gosh I miss focus on music instead of focus on spoiled identity-confused teenagers.
