  • what oil do you use in your bike?

  • @grizzskoalcope - Hey man, just realized that I do have a video of the bike now after a complete overhaul in January. Check my other vids - "1986 to 1992 Yamaha XT350 in 3.5 hours"

  • sweet dog :)

  • @qqupevaj - Thanks man, the bike actually looks a lot different now. I should make a new video which I will do when I get home from California... going to start making a lot more videos of me working on the bikes and what I do with them. I am looking forward to it. Keep checking back!

  • Thanks for replying! I also have a black XT350 (mine is a 1988), and I'm thinking of changing the the mask as well! With an old school UFO TT350 styled one, that lookes similar to this one! Other than that I have to load a new 12V battery and a new 520 chain for now! -So from your experience, this headlight (UFO) will not leave enough space for the stock signal lights and speedo/tach to fit in all together hugh??

  • @savvasgrace - Sorry so long to respond. I am going to dig out the UFO mask when I get back home and see if it will fit. I might be taking the speedo off again and just leaving the RPM meter on it. Not sure but I think I will be doing another overhaul and making a video of all the work. I have some metal shavings showing up in the oil so I want to fix whatever it is before it gets too bad. I will post some more vids soon... keep checking.

  • takhle jsem projizdel mustanga 50 :-) ale v 6 letech tohodle komara chce osedlat :-)

  • @wheelerboy12 - They certainly are hard to come by - I had a second set but had to rip into the them and steal the slave carb as someone had cross-threaded the jet in it... needless to say it was a bitch of a job but worth it in the end.

  • @stalker958 - My petcock was leaking around the screws so what i did was took apart and old chain and used the rubber o-rings as washers when I put the screws back on. It worked like a charm.

  • @grizzskoalcope - I use Amsoil 0W40 I think is what it is... I don't have it in front of me as I am on vacation right now. It is the off-road oil and is fantastic stuff. A little pricier, but you will thank yourself in the long run.

  • does your gas line valve screw leak too? im thinking about picking up a metal aftermarket plug for it

  • do you know where i can get a carb for this bike? i know they are harder to come by since they have the dual carb
