While I always enjoy these kind of shows and will probably enjoy this as well, one of the issues that always bugs me when it comes to cop shows like this is that when the cases go to trial, all the solicitor defending the suspect has to do is speak to the press and jury and say:

"The police have arrested my client on the word of a mentally ill who regularly hallucinates, his testimony cannot be trusted and I plan to sue the state for wrongful arrest."

Admittedly nitpicking, but still.
