third degree burns (gasoline) resulted in the scars you see in the video.

The leg was grafted with a sheet graft (not a mesh graft).

  • looks better now aye? did you get skingrafts

  • @eljefe90 - I got sheet grafts on the leg two times (redone in 2001) and foor was mesh grafted.

  • I was electrocuted at a very high voltage 5 months ago , i was burned 65% of my body , 30% were 3d degree , its tough , but I can do all the things I did before the accident , now i can realy relate to people with burns , but i'm blessed to be alive thanks to God , sorry about you're accident

  • @hayes39 welcome to the club nobody wants to join. glad you are doing well. you now have to deal with a lot of "new" stuff, such as loss of feeling, sweating more than normal due to the reduction of sweat glands. staying out of the sun for the first year or 2, and then always watching the grafts. having adhesions, contractures, breakdowns, but you should be pretty much be over the itching from hell.. glad you are doing well now!

  • 1. Vitamine B1

    2. Spring water

they're not so strong, but it will help

  • at 11 months old my father put me in a bath tub full of hot water and i am left with 3rd degree burns scars on the complete lower half of my body. good luck to you

  • @patman456123 - depends on how deep the 3rd degree was (normally 3rd turns white, then about 4 to 5 days later it breaks down and you can see the depth of the burn. if it was grafted it can take a few weeks. depending on how large and it's locations (arms etc) is can take from several weeks for several months.

small 3rd dgree can take 45 to 60 days. typically ANY thrird degree burn is treated in a hospital, and if it's very big they will graft it.

  • i just got first second and thrid degree burns from gas on march 19. the 3rd has not heal yet. How long does it take?
