  • different strokes for different folks, but he plays lots of legit syncopations with good technique and dynamics and creates tension and release. An approach that is valid but admittedly not for everybody. I don't think it makes him tasteless

  • @adamtuminaro89 lolololol this is in a middle of a solo...to say what you said is like walking into a conversation and you don't even know what the convo is about.

Ronald Respects the music (If he didn't he wouldn't be touring with Stanley Clarke,Chaka Khan and other artists) but when he gets the chance to solo he goes at it risks and all.

  • Such an over player. Its like his goal is to pump out as many odd notes as possible. Too sporadic and random to be called tasteful.

  • @FrizzyDiouleBiGbonus at some point yes i agree,he is just way too expressive.. but i cant deny he is a good drummer...maybe he should learn from benny greb :)

  • @agumonkey Scott Kinsey man..

  • @FrizzyDiouleBiGbonus HAHAHAHAHAHAHA wow....do you notice this is in the middle of a drumsolo? HURRRR DURRRRRRR!!!!

If he lost the music he wouldn't have won a grammy with Stanley Clarke or have played or currently be on tour with Chaka Khan....so yeah HUSH please.

  • btw is that A. Feraud on bass (if so he's gonna tease Damien Schmidt lol ) ? who's on keys ?

  • The reincarnation of Dennis Chambers with Omar Hakim overwhelmingness. Interesting.

  • @plasplasplasplas let him hear Tony Grey's Chasing Shadow album.. :)

  • @FrizzyDiouleBiGbonus

you just speak with Stanley Clarke Lee Ritenour Kenny Garret Tribal Tech

Suicidal Tendencies Wayne Shorter Ron Carter Larry Carlton Marcus Miller and Robben Ford I suppose.
