@nicopercutin i'm sorry for my bad english, but maibe i have an answer for your problem, loose completely all tuning hooks from your bongós and move instead sliding a little bit the metal base on the bottom of the drums and the rims of the top who tenses the skins, then make sure the hooks don't touch direct in the middle of your legs. This way you don't have hooks supported with the whole weigth of the drums in your legs and you feel much more confortable. Adiós amigo!

Great bongoes, I have a couple. The only problem is they're too unfonfortable to hold with your knees. But nothing to argue about the sound...and prize.
