@Hotshotter3000 That's why you always see a lone guy working on it, not large groups who would flood the market. If just one person could do it he could make a couple pounds a year and trickle it out...I'm watching this episode for the first time but I'm betting it's individual alchemist(s) working independently.
I know it was obvious that the Devil was disguised as the pirate but I really wish they would've had his eyes glow like all the other times we first see him in an episode.
You know what makes Alchemy bullshit? If you did manage to create gold out of lead or any substance you wanted, and you made massive amounts of it, the value of gold would drop dramatically once you have a significant quantity of it (read in the many tons) made.
Even as a child I knew the concept of demand and supply. Just as a trivia fact, as of 2009, there have been and estimated 165,000 metric tons of gold mined in the WHOLE of human history. Adding another 10 or 20 tons can change things.
Does ANYONE know what that red stuff is?! I know it has to be radioactive, but I can't tell what it is, and it's driving me crazy!
