  • hi, how long u been to china and especially, how long did u "study" wudang pai from a lineholder teacher? During the 6 years in China i had enough Comparisons to know what is traditional and what "altered". And this "Tai Yi Xiao Yao Zhang", believe me, is traditional wudang pai. I dont know any teacher in Shi Yan, but at the mountains of Wudang many. If u have any more questions, send a msg. peace.

  • That's a very interesting style :) Is it related to "Tai Yi Wu Xing Quan"? My teacher learned it from someone named Pu Xuan, though I've never seen it demonstrated (I studied more "mainstream" taiji quan from him).

  • Hi, both "forms"; "Tai Yi Wu Xing" and "Tai Yi Xiao Yao Zhang" are from the same creater named "Tai Yi Zhen Ren" who is one of the famous Masters during the Ming Dynasty at mount Wudang. The Tai Yi Boxing alsoincloudes "Tai Yi Shen Jian" and "Tai Yi Qi Gong". All advanced level forms of the Wudang Pai.

  • Very very nice. Both practitioners are very good!

  • @youlihan This form looks very different from any Taiyi Wuxing Quan I have ever seen, are they related stylistically and technically or only because they are from the same creator? Taiyi is without doubt my favourite style I have ever seen and my ambition as a martial artist is to study this style, although in my opinion it is a little too advanced for me just yet. If I am lucky enough perhaps I will have the chance to study from you in the future.

  • Interesting. I was thinking the guy in the brown had a little more yin and the guy in darker robes more yang. Very nice stuff though.

  • neither they compliment each other thats y they paired them they are equal yet individual

  • the guy in the brown robes is more refined

    excellent

  • woow that was beautiful the guy in blue was the best he did the movements more swiftly x

  • this isnt wushu (kung fu/external martial arts) its tai chi (internal martial arts)and all internal styles have hidden power while external styles use power that we can all see

  • Great performance. Better than the Chinese Masters.

You are a great example of "the student will be better than the student".

    Congratulations
