Polish agriculturalist and beekeeper Stanislaw Gebala came to Africa seven years ago to teach beekeeping to rural farmers. With funding from Caritas, a Polish humanitarian organization, he built a homestead to teach modern farming in a region of the world where most farming is done by hand.
After the program funding was cut, Stani stayed on to help people in rural villages who often go hungry for lack of food, though rainfall is plenty and land is fertile. There is so much demand for Stani's beekeeping classes which he conducts for free on the weekends, he's had to turn students away-but with no funding the classroom at the model farm sits empty.
how can i help ?
