Nikki lives about 10 minutes from my house and goes (went?) to my friend's school. She's very good, although her french is kinda meh. She goes to English school, unlike most kids in Quebec.

Canadian French and Quebec French isn't the same. The language who's speak here in Quebec is Joual. There is a huge difference in the choice of the words that are use between each other. This is another reason why the French people from Europe have difficulties to understand us.

Obviously, I'm not here to create a debate between Quebec French and Canadian French. Be proud of what you are and let the others be.
