Here is a Comedy Inc piece of a young woman calling Telstra and getting some weird sounding people on the other line. They sound Indian, but it's 2 women pretending to be Indian!

This is all the more reason why these jobs need to be sent back here to the US. I lost my job due to outsourcing and got no help in finding another job and no severence or anything and MSI let 200 people go after being a call center here for 26 years. They cost me everything and my life practically and most co workers lost their places to live and had to leave Portland. I may have to it is so bad here. Call center work is all I can do being permanantly disabled from a bad wreck and accident.
