@darthchoas1 Still wrong, Zero's true form is his original Maverick self. Omega is a conciousness built within Zero's real body. Zero went to the researcher to have the virus extracted and eliminated from his body since he realized that he spread the virus around during his missions. Zero only remembered what his true purpose in life was. Pay more attention to detail before lashing out wrong pretenses at people. Have a great evening.

ok for the record to the "timeline" X7 and 8 DO NOT EXIST after X6 was made without keijis approval but when he saw the zero ending he rewrote the zero games to fit in so as the person before me said it "accidentally" became part of the history omegas "mind" is somthing weil created i however like to think omega is infact the final peice of sigma who after so many revivals was able to be subdued by weil and merged with virus in zero body and became "omega" to obey him

SCRATCH WHAT I SAID! It wasn't when X didn't find Zero. It was Zero's Ending that turned into Megaman Zero. IF You used Zero to beat Sigma, then YES, the next part would be the elf wars, and then Megaman Zero. BUT, if its X who beats sigma, Megaman Zero never happens, because Zero never goes to sleep to get rid of the virus in his body. This is evident in MMX7 because if Zero went to sleep, he'd never meet Axl. DUH! xD

@Saduwo Okay dude, sorry, here's a revision of my comment, actually your right on the part that X6 Wasn't part of the main story line."Supposedly" but since it was released without the approval of Inafune. SO X6 became part of the main story"accidentally". It was sopposed to be because in X5 Zero dies, and that gives way to Megaman Zero, BUT X6 Revives Zero, so instead of Zero dying, he becomes a research material to get rid of the virus IF X NEVER FINDS HIM in X6.

NOW, His original body contained the maverick virus, which didn't affect him because he was ALWAYS maverick. He just forgot about it. You can say that Zero is a Maverick with a sense of justice(that's after he lost to sigma thus leading to memory loss), which prevents him from doing the activities of a maverick. NOW the original body (now that it doesen't have the "Real Zero in it") returned to its original purpose with the help of Dr. Weil.

I GOT IT! In my previous comments, I never mentioned how Omega ever even came to be now did I? I read the wiki many times and finally made a conclusion. FIRST, The zero we all know and love is a reploid who lost his true purpose because of memory loss. In my last comment, I explained his true purpose. Now, he was turned into a research material in an alternate ending of X6, there, his original body contained the virus, and had his program(Memory) into a copy body.

Actually, X6 was still part of the Main story line.it was very important. Because on X6, the story lines divide into 2. X6 is the Continuation of X5's "True" Ending, where Zero dies protecting X from Sigma. But in X6, you can choose whether to Find zero or not. If you beat the zero nightmare, you Find Zero, and Zero never became a research material OR you DON'T fight the nightmare, and you never find Zero. There he makes himself a research material, THUS leading to Megaman Zero.
