Wow! I remember when the club was first built. I worked there from '73 - '75, along with lots of other local kids. It was like a trip back in time to the 1950's, except for the partying and drugs. The bunnies weren't supposed to date customers, but ....... Everyone would get together after work at the George Inn or the Hound n' Hare. Good times.
I worked as a busboy in the Club's Penthouse for a couple of weekends in early spring, 1972, my senior year of high school in Montville, Morris County. Busboys supported the Bunnies who waited on tables, so worked pretty closely with them, hung out with them in a staff room off the kitchen during after- dinner entertainment, Jackie Mason as I recall. Bunnies shared their tips with us and we had to earn it, lot of hustle. Friends at school didn't believe my Bunny tales. I never forget 'em...
Unbelievable to see this. I live across the street from Legends and frankly, it looks like it hasn't been touched since the 70's. Ashame it's now primarily a location for low income housing. It's really an eyesore. The only thing that appears to be regularly maintained is the surrounding golf course. My friends and I joke that this place seems like the Overlook Hotel in The Shining. Thanks for sharing.
wow what a great piece of history....thanks

Unreal, what memories. I was about 12-13 when my parents first took me there.
we lived about an hour and a half away. I never understood why the girls served food in those black body suits and white tail, until much later on.
