Houston Truth Hits the Streets, Sept. 11, 2008

Houston Truth took to the streets of Downtown Houston on September 11, 2008 where we distributed hundreds of fliers and DVDs. Downtown was being evacuated that Friday afternoon, as Hurricane Ike was making its way towards the coast. Thanks to the evacuation, thousands of people were outside waiting in long lines at bus stops or heading to the cars so we had an unusually large audience. Ike helped us downtown, but the scattered rain and lack of traffic didn't do much for our freeway blogging at the end of the day. If you're in H-Town please come join us. HoustonTruth.org

@illiandra77083 Hurricane Ike was on its way. I'm not exactly sure where the busses were going to or coming from, but can only assume they were helping with evacuation. Pretty freaky to see them all together. Hopefully that's not a sight I'll see again.
