It's easier to use than I thought... but you don't explain the middle-click ("go here") and right-click (start/end menu) functionality the script has.
Interesting idea. Not sure if it's really necessary, now that most people have scroll on their mice and/or trackpads, but the functionality at very small sizes is a big plus.
Generally, the only thing I ever use a scroll bar for is to click at some point for the "Jump to here" feature (System Preferences > Appearance in Mac OS X).
Nice! Now we can make scrollbars that are only a few pixels wide, instead of the fat ones we have today. Would work wonders for people with 640x480 ^_^
Hm, I don't know if this really helps. Maybe I should try the demo, but I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable with moving controls. I like them to stick somewhere where I can find them.
Anyways, good to see this demonstration as a movie and not plain text. ;-)
Because OS X is a system that "normal" people can use without having to fiddle around. And of course because you actually have software that is able to be used in a pro enviroment ( and I do am not talking about simply "Office Docs" )
