  • @knowledgeiswhatsup The black slaves were in good company. Many european whites earned their passage as endentured servents also and the term slave was not reserved just for blacks. But I wont make light of what actually occurred I am well aware of what happened. But I wonder sometimes if it was really slavery, or the 100 plus years of struggeling to be treated, accepted as equalls that has hurt them more as a culture. Candi staton rules, love her version of "he called me Baby"

  • What would America do without it's former slaves? If we did not exist, this could not be (formerly) the greatest country (in popular culture) on the planet.

  • Ohh This just made me feel good..Wow..Love it!

  • Wonderful version! Thank you.

  • Fantastic!!!!
