  • 10 novembre! ce le jour de ma fete!

  • @PlatypusGuitar ah ben! ;P

  • I buy bushels of apples from the farmers market. Always there's the ugly ones left that I'd make apple sauce from. I learned that I only need to remove the stem and blossom ends because the food mill I use will remove the skin and seeds. So I only have to cut off anything questionable.

We've been badly conditioned to reject anything foods that don't look like what we find in stores. I know I'm guilty of it. :p

  • @VivianRinSC Oh yeah ugly and buggy food is no reason not to cook them ! ;)

  • have to look into that jelly thing

  • Those peelings/cores could make a good apple jelly! How did the sauce turn out? Apples are on sale here 5 bags for $5. I need to do some sauce and jelly myself.
