@MsThugbear Actually you were theoritically correct when you said it was Chinese. G.E.M. is of Hong Kong decent, which is part of the People's Republic of China, but Cantonese is mainly spoken in Hong Kong, whereas Mandarin is spoken by the majority of those on the Mainland, Taiwan and Singapore. Cantonese, Mandarin - but also other dialects spoken in China like Hakka and Wu all belong to Chinese. The official language of China is Mandarin Chinese though.
