Here's a peek into the behind-the-scenes creation of the 2005 film version of Stravinsky's "Le Rossignol" with director Christian Chaudet and performers Natalie Dessay, Laurent Naouri, Albert Schagidullin, Vsevolod Grivnov, Violetta Urmana, Maxime Mikhailov, and Marie McLaughlin. These videos are dedicated to Marion because of her excellent help with the subtitles! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007RO54I?ie=UTF8&tag=vogltemp-20&l...

Part V shows Albert Schagidullin being filmed as "L'empereur" ("The Emperor").

  • my god.....she was round 30 here and she looks like a 14!!! how cute is she!!

  • Yeah, she is adorable! :P I think here she seems so young because of her short stature, impishness, and the fact she's wearing a short dress-ish thing! :P

  • @killerbunny123123 if this video was filmed in 2005 she can't be 30

  • Haha...she was 40 :P Now she's 45!

  • Hey that's interesting! :)

  • Well...yes. It's written by Stravinsky so it's 20th century art music...and everything in that category is weird :P

  • It's called 'ceceo' and it's natural ONLY in Spain. In other countries intead of caza:catha we use caza:casa therefore caza=casa (hompohones) ;-)

  • Oh right...I know that! (I used to have to a little Spanish in Texas when I lived there) So I guess it's natural to have a lithp?

  • aha xD I don't really know, but in Spanish from Spain we use "S" and "TH"

i.e "a hunt" is "una caza", and we pronounce "catha", and a house is "una casa" and we pronounce "casa" ^^
