This is my home made melodic metal.
About the recording:
To the guitar I used a Line 6 Toneport GX with a solo100 amp model, and to the vocal a Behringer C1 microphone with a Tube Ultragain Mic200 preamp. The mic and the computer is in the same room, so it records a lot of noise. (The noise reduction isn't the best solution, it just kills the sound.) And finally my guitar is a Cort XTH with EMG 81.
About the mixing:
The mixing was made with the Reaper so I could use some vsts and vstis, example the EWQL. All the other intruments sounds are by the EWQL but maybe next time the drums are going to be made with EZ Drummer.
I'd like to buy a quad-core processor to my computer because my AMD X2 is too weak for this many plugins. And maybe a better sound card is needed too because of the asio problems. The asio always made the festival, doesn't let me mix in peace.

Really really like this. It leaves me stunned and impressed, and also curious.. Something so beutiful was born out of a 1 man band, or am i wrong? Please do tell me you're going to make more of this and put it on youtube, maybe even later on make a full CD recording. This is by far, one of the best songs i've heard for a long time from artists i didnt know about. Really, go for it, keep up the good work!

@chrisandersen90 Thank You for your heartwarming comment. It's true, I'm a one man band or just a man simply. :) I'm planning to create similar songs like this but at this time I have to listen to my work, so I barely can make music. Maybe in the next few days I'll have a new one, I'm not sure jet I can finish it in time.

Hey, can you tell me how you got that tone? I'm not gonna steal it, I just want something similar.

I'm always making experiments with the toneport. I'm not sure about the exact settings, but this is a solo100 with screamer distortion, and maybe a 2x12 line6 cabinet with an off axis 57. I think the best if you turn to minimal the drive on the solo100, and on the screamer to maximal. I'm trying right now how it sounds better, i think a 421 dynamic is a better choice, but keep on trying. In the mix that's not always the best as out of mix.
