Her Wedding || Ep.5 [A Jemi Story]

Hey everyone (:
Wanna hear the most stupid thing I accidentally did?
Well, my friend's mom is planning my friend a surprise party for this friday. And she invited me today. She asked me if I could tell my other friend, Kaitlyn about it. And so I texted her, but guess who I sent the text to? Not Kaitlyn, but the birthday girl herself. O_______O I stopped it right away but it was too late because I could hear my friend's phone vibrating in her pocket beside me. I attacked her for her phone. I was like "NOOO. DON'T LOOK AT THAT. I ACCIDENTALLY SENT THAT MESSAGE TO YOU. DON'T FREAKING LOOK AT IT." and she tried to open her phone but i beat her to it. Only problem was that it had a passcode. So she had to open it, but thank god she decided against looking at it, and just handed her phone to me so I could delete it.
I almost ruined the whole surprise party D:

Anyhoo, I'm sure none of you cared about that story. So here's the real story:


I walked into the bar, getting myself another drink. A few years ago, I went off the rails and became an alcoholic. Demi helped me out of it but then she got engaged, and I've started coming regularly again. I will probably go back to my old ways, but there's nobody left to care.
Just then, this beautiful brunette came up to me, "Why hello there"
I smiled, "Hey."
She gave me a smile and sat down next to me, "Do I get a name, handsome?"
I bit my lip. She was beautiful, and she seemed sweet. It's wrong to use someone to get over Demi, but I needed to find what's out there.
"I'll give you a name if you give me your number."
She pulled me off my chair and grinned, "I'll give you a number if you give me a dance."
I laughed and followed her to the dance floor.

I drove her home and followed her to the doorstep.
She looked at me smiling, "sooo..."
"Sooo...I gave you your dance, do I get your number?" I asked grinning.
She took my phone and entered her number giggling, "Now I gave you my number, do I get a name?"
I leaned in slowly and kissed her. She put her arms around my neck and kissed me deeper. After several seconds, I pulled away and smiled. "I had a great time, Victoria." and I started walking back to my car.
Halfway out of her driveway, she screamed, "Wait! I didn't get your name!"
I chuckled, "It's Joe!" I yelled back.
She gave me another smile and waved, "Bye Joe."
I gave her a wave and drove home.

I opened the door and found Chelsea and Demi pacing back and forth. "What's going on here?" I asked.
Demi came over and gave me a hug, "Oh Joe, thank god." I looked down at her confused.
Demi started rambling, "Chelsea called me, and told me you weren't home yet. And you had gone to the bar to get a drink. I got worried and came over. We tried calling, but you didn't pick up. Joe! I was so worried you'd get drunk and so stupid things, or get in an accident on the way home! And then, I thought that- wait...is that perfume I smell on you?" She sniffed me and pulled away, confused.
I lifted my shirt up ad gave it a sniff, "Oh, it must be from Victoria."
Chelsea raised an eyebrow, "Victoria? A girl...??"
I laughed, "Yes a girl. I met her at the bar, and we didn't realize how late it had gotten."
Chelsea gave me a big smile, "Is she pretty? Is she nice? When will we get to meet her?"
I shook my head smiling, "Yea she's pretty and she's really nice. I don't know if you'll meet her, we just kind of met."
Chelsea cocked her head to the side, "Do..you want to see her again?"
I bit my lip and nodded.
Chelsea looked at Demi, "Demi! Isn't this great? Joe finally met a girl he's interested in."
Demi looked up, "Huh? oh yeah. sure. Uhm, i've got to go. I'm glad you're safe Joe." and with that, she left.
I looked over at the door, "What's her problem?"

I would think she is getting married she would be happy her best friend will have someone as well, i can't wait for the next one and i have done my fare share of stupid things as well.
