Malawi Court Rejects Madonna Adoption Request

A judge has rejected Madonna's request to adopt a second child from Malawi because of a requirement that prospective parents live in the southern African nation for at least 18 months, another judge and a lawyer said Friday. (April 3)

How do you expect protect children from a "inmoral" lifestyle while the world is full of it; Madonna does her best efforts from saving this children, David could have died without Madona´s adoption, he is better in her hands

some celebrities are genuinely concerned about the well-being of third world children. adopting third world children in developing countries could potentially protect them from a higher likelihood of death, especially in the more devastated areas. with this said, the intent of madonna is still highly questionable but her arguments for adopting nevertheless, merit some aspect of helpfulness.

jojorodrigeus, How can you say that this child his the luckiest in the world? You know nothing about Madonna except she has money. You equate poverty to unhappiness and the only thing that makes poverty unhappy is when rich people like Madonna think they have the right to take children away from their family. The Grandmother of this child wanted to keep her. If Madonna is such a good person why not donate to help the Grandmother take care of Mercy and her brothers and sisters?

well, i have only 1 thing to say....she did manage to adopt the girl, and this girl is the luckiest child in the world, she will have the greatest future!
