@waterableman young people have had their failures handed to them by their previous generation. how can you blame the current generation for our ancestors' crimes?

The guy in the chair interviewing carlin was bored as hell. You should look interested douche not opinionated.

Well, it is logical that the human mind is in its prime at the age of 25-30. Nature did not intend for us to live more than 35-40 years, we do it now due to unnaturally good living conditions. We aren't supposed to have all this time on our hands to waste and not know what to do with. Everyone keeps telling me that life is too short, but it's not; it's too long. Had we only 30 years of life, we would be much more concerned with what to do with them than we are now with 80-90.

@Hejzwej Young people are unskilled, out of touch, and inadequate in almost every trade nowadays compared to previous generations, this is a observable fact. That is what he was talking about. I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't know how to do your laundry since this gen is so blindly disenfranchised and full of shit, young people don't want to see the failure in themselves. I recommend watching Zeitgeist movie series, it's a real eye opener.

@Hejzwej You just proved his point, god young people SUCK.
-
@CounterNerd sure... all i meant to say was that if everybody became a little more like him, we wouldnt need to miss him ^^
-
I think people just miss the image of him. Someone who represents the people to question and stand up for themselves.
-
all the greatest creative endeavors are produced in a person's 20s
We shouldn't wish for him to be still alive. he would probably hate it anyway.^^
Plus we should maybe start thinking ourselves, and not let people like him do it for us.
Carlin was a great person. Wise, intelectual and really fuckin reflected.
I'd rather try to learn from him and think for myself. Always.

@Hermoor We are the biggest set of failures in the history of people. For that precise reason you mention (the extreme availability of information) young people would rather "pwn" noobs on Xbox live. Listen to some rapper, and browse 4chan every 5 minutes whilst having epic internet battles such as this. Instead of making real progress in humanity, our generation hasn't achieved piss. Every privilege we have today was because people b4 us either died or figured it out for us, we are bums lmao.
