Try it from the south end with a short final as ATC makes you come across the ASB bridge and turn right at the river & then whip it in. Of course, that was in a 152.
Coming in from the south in an airliner was an amazing thing. There used to be a place called "Rudy Patrick Seeds" on the south side of the river that the flight crews looked for - kind of like the big checkerboard on the hill at the old Hong Kong Kai-Tak airport.
