The Dutch have borrowed this tune; in this form it´s a Scottish original from the 18thC: Robertson´s Hornpipe, but indeed it goes back to a tune by Richard Farnaby (1601).

And according to a booklet from the Belgian "Dans met ons"-series the choreography of the "Dutch folk-dance" is in fact a new one to the Scottish tune, written for a sports club at Gorssel (near Zutphen) in the Netherlands.
