It was my understanding that you went down in special cooling suits in order to withstand the heat which was about 118 degrees. A person could be down there for a few minutes and take the suit off, but I am sure they would not be very comfortable. Longer than a few minutes would have unpleasant side effects, mainly death. Check out the National Geographic Channel of the real - unfake- scientific evidence on these caves. The crystals are hot, not cold, but they do look like ice.

They definatly are real crystals, unfortunatly the pitures of the people here are fake, the cavern is so hot that you need to wear special heat protective suits. the cave holds 100% humidity and even in suits you cant spend much more than 10 minutes in there as it can cause death from heat exposure!!
