@rumad1 fucking word, hate elitist pricks who only show up on rockband/guitarhero vids to boast about how they play "real" guitar/drums, I really coudlnt give a fuck, I dont see soldiers turning up on COD vids slagging them off for not "really" shooting people. Games like Rockband and guitar hero inspire people to pick up real intruments (im one of those who was inspired, yet I still play the games even though im learning guitar.

I personally found the game to help my guitar playing ability in terms of Hand-Eye Coordination which I've always been poor at.

The hardest thing for me is the rapid blues on the drums during the first solo. I'd usually stick to "hard" and kick the shit out of it.

@gaiance I tell you what... the first time I played Guitar Hero it kicked my ass, and I had been playing guitar for several years. Even the songs that I can play flawlessly gave me a hard time on the game. When I started playing Rock Band I moved to drums. It actually helped me be able to play. I once played this song missing only one hit. I also bought the after market kit with larger pads and cymbals. This song is like running a marathon!

I play both real instruments and these games, and I don't understand the mentality behind thinking this is so related to playing a real instrument that it needs to be criticized for not being the real thing.
