Having seen them a few times, they get a bit boring live (in my opinion :p). Not to mention I prefer thier older stuff (Love Metal etc). Im sure you'll get other good bands come through.

Which ironically made them better than the earlier bands as you could actually HEAR the guitars and vocals, funny how life goes, no?

btw, the guys from metallica personally chose HIM to be their opening act, i think it was Kirk who really liked HIMs music...so metallica fans should know that.....

ALL bands have haters so HIM not getting good reception isnt a big deal...metallica fans can be dicks, true, but they payed to see metallica....but they shoulda been more respectful becuz they just made themselves look like idiots...and even metallica have had haters who have spit on them before and called em sellouts of course and the whole napster thing...but im not saying, just pointing it out....HIM has loads of fans, and thats all that matters...personally i think metallica is overrated...

yeah I would have thought Metallica fans, or any fans of alternative music would have at least had like enough decency to give a band a chance regardless of whether they liked them or not - after all what you're into is all about taste, and unless you give musical reasons for not liking a band is pretty much pointless - booing and jeering is just cowardly really - it's cool you have an open mind though I like both bands though HIM is probably my favourite modern band, I listen to jazz mostly

Jeez , i was there , that was before i loved H.I.M so much , and now feel like a total jerk for not liking them at this gig.

I was just there to see metallica , but it kinda put me off how the Metallica fans booed H.I.M

mhmm i no people payed money to see metallica... but i went to a concert to see black sabbath and they had other bands playing there before they went on and i didnt even like them and probaly other people didnt but they payed there respect to that band and the people at that metallica show should have done the same with HIM.. I love HIM they are my fav band ever, if i was there i would have told every on down there to shut the hell up and stope booing at them just because you done like them..
