2008 Washington State GOP Convention McCain Delegation Mutin

When the Washington State GOP decided to go with the slogan "A Party On the March", they weren't kidding as the majority of the McCain delegation representing the Washington State GOP just walked off the floor to stifle any debate on the floor regarding platform discussion. It is sad because the delegates should be representing the people of Washington State and not the corporate interests in Washington DC.

This was just one of then many delaying tactics used by the corrupt leadership of the Republican party. This has happened before in almost every state convention as orchestrated by National GOP leadership. Each convention gets much more efficient at shutting down debate and any discussion of the issues.

McCain lost what little credibility he had as the people are silenced. It is too bad this does not show them crawling back. while they were gone we passed a Constitutional Anti-War Resolution

Note Kirby Wilbur's (the chairman) own words..."mass exodus", this was not some McCain supporters leaving because they were tired or aching. It was orchestrated, we saw the runners relaying the message to execute the mutiny.

Funny how the Chair ignored the request to have the McCain delegates walking out surrender their badges. If the walkout hadn't occurred Dino Rossi would be Governor today.
