This is why I am trying hard to quit Walgreens after working there 6 years now. No promotion, no recognition and definitely no care and respect for their employees who work hard for them. I risk too much working there as does everyone else yet it feels like no one gives a shit about any of us. This man is a hero for standing up for himself. Hell I would do it too. I am not dying just to give Walgreens a good image, My life is more important than these rich peoples's arrogance.

i am a walgreens truck driver and I deliver to that store often...the pharmacist should have capped them both...see if they try to rob another establishment then

So what would Walgreens prefer, a Columbine style massacre in their store? The pharmacist is a hero. I won't be shopping there either.

You are not defending yourself, when the robbers are running away.

I have posted a message on the Walgreens FB page. I told them because of what they did, I'm pulling my prescriptions. I also told them I'm posting on the NRA, GOAL and JPFO FB pages. That they should enjoy the downturn of business from the 100 million registered gun owners in the U.S.

I have a “plausible and justifiable reason” to never shop at Walgreens again.

well, i'm never shopping at Walgreens again. That kind of suck because you fuckers are on every corner but i will drive an hour out of the way just so my money doesn't support you bastards.

stop going to wallgreens if the thief came there you dont have proteccion they prefer you to be killed than use arms against criminals
This pharmacist is hero and should be rewarded for his actions! I would hire him to run my pharmacy. I least I know no one will be jumping over the counter for the oxycodone when he is there. As a pharmacist myself, I often look behind my shoulders when walking out to my car after closing down the pharmacy each night. Good Job Man!!!

Thumbs up for the pharmacist, not Walgreen's decision to fire him.
