I was at an elevation of about 2,400 metres (7,880 feet) when I recorded this at a temperature of -15 Celsius (5 degrees Fahrenheit). Although I was 54 years of age, at the time of this recording, I still love running, exercise, and the outdoors! Oh, those orange/blue foot covers with the loose strings are a set of quarter-century old "gaiters" - usually used for hiking to keep either snow, mud, or dirt out of one's footwear.
Here's my personal web page about exercise:

Actually, that's a pretty good question. Most people would be wearing snowshoes even at this shallow depth (15 cm - 8 inches). I, myself, avoid the use of snowshoes at almost all costs - to me they're too "clunky" and inefficient - backcountry skis with "skins" work much better.
