...maybe the writer of the lyrics , here, wanted to express a rare but true feeling, of some children that grow up with mothers that not only do not care about them , but use and abuse them as well....unfortunately , it is sad , but true...I personally had a very good mother , so this song does not 'suit ' me but I understand it , as I have met people with bad experiences from their mother's, or any other relative, or human being.....if you want a deeper meaning it could mean mother Earth....!

I can't believe people are even saying the name Marilyn Manson in light of Sopor Aeternus. I don't personally like Marilyn Manson- But I appreciate him for his musical contributions to the world. But you just cannot even use those 2 artists in the same sentence... I on the over hand, adore Anna- Just the way (s)he is.

Marilyn Manson could just not be this or live up to it. The obscure sensation tells it the way it is! So much warmth & cold erry-ness! Mother is term for the Queen's mother. Mother has so many meanings.

I think this song is meant to be creepy & very enduring. Its got the Nosterftu & Lord Voldemort in it but in a feminine/masculine way. It eludes to old age & fertility in the same immortal breath. On the maculine side its denoting that most males if they step out of line will be plummeted & beaten by their mothers. It says women are not respected in our current age of time. It also denotes the loss of a child as Mother of the Universe is barren but with a hearty crop of children none she holds.
