Sega Saturn - Shinobi X: Stage 5 Part 2 Ninja Elevator

I managed to get my desktop computer back up and running the way it should be and at the same time figured out a way to capture video output from the Sega Saturn. And so it was done.

This is my playthrough of stage 5 part 1 in the game Shinobi X, also known as Shinobi Legions to our US cousins and Shin Shinobi Den to the Japs. A reasonably good game, the only thing that lets it down is the poor yet cheesy live action cinematics.

I consider both parts of stage 5 as individual stages, stage 5 has no regular boss enemy but instead a rather lengthy ride on an elevator infested with Ninjas. So to me part 2 of stage 5 is stage 6 and the stage after that stage 7, and so on...

This part of stage 5 is where I died for the first time since the start of the game.

This stage wasn't really that hard, u just need to stay in the middle and use block a lot. I don't know what u are complaining about.

And this music is great! One of the best tracks from Saturn.

I spent quite a few attempts trying to beat this part in Shinobi Legions. The music in this version would probably have gotten annoying.
