That is not a bass flute, it is a regular flute with a hooked head joint because he is a bit small to reach for the head. The only reason why it looks like a bass flute is because he is small, so the flute looks big. I know because I used to play flute, and I started with a hooked head because I was small too.

@animegurl237 It's a flute that has the head joint bent so he can reach all the keys. He's a bit tiny for a full sized flute. But it also may be a bass flute. not sure.
