Children play a game designed by David Reinfurt for the exhibition For the blind man in the dark room looking for the black cat that isn't there. The game is designed to allow young children to enter the complex idea of the fourth dimension. The nature of the game itself will change over time as the show travels to other venues and begins with an investigation into the traditional view of the fourth dimension: time in relation to the other three dimensions. As yet, this game has no rules, and David William (composite name of designers David Reinfurt and Will Holder) have merely provided potential players specific objects with which to engage. Players of all ages were invited to intuit an improvised structure.
