Liberalism is a mental disorder

A California judge ruled a California homeowner must cut down two of their redwood trees. Their neighbor installed solar panels after the trees were planted. Then complained the shade of the tress were preventing the solar panels from getting sun during the middle of the day. The California redwood trees were worship as deity by the pagans on the west coast. Now these majestic trees must be eliminated if they get in the way of providing shade to a solar panel. The lumber companies should install solar panels among the redwood trees, then a judge would order the trees to be eliminated. This can only happen among liberals.

As a non-American who is very interested in the complexity of the USA (and loves the country too!) I have to ask... Where can I learn of the defining factors of what constitutes a Liberal and a Conservative? Whats the difference? What side would the founding fathers have been on? Was there even 'sides' back then? Genuinely curious and looking for resources.

@liennto - To be brief, conservatives desire smaller government, lower taxes and individual responsibility. Liberals desire large government, higher taxes, and believe government should assist those who make poor decisions. Our Found Fathers basically had a distrust of a national government, but knew it was necessary. The reason the Constitution of the USA limits the powers of government while protecting the rights of the people

Please be aware conservatives out number liberals in the USA. However the liberals control academia, the news media, the entertainment industry, our public schools, and the Democratic Party.

Large as it may seem, it still constitutes a minority. It is just because what they control, they have a bigger bully pulpit. However conservatives are rampant throughout the land. For God and country!

@liennto I think the answers that they gave you are incorrect. There are two parties that are competing with power: the apostate liberal party that sides with Islamic extremists who are mostly anti-government, oppose the war, and generally want lower taxes at any cost (even taking food out the poor's mouth), while carrying a liberal flag. Mostly consisted of the middle class. Then we have the fascist republicans who like this guy don't know anything. That's the sad reality.

@PropagandaBuster Not true. The founding fathers built the Constitution based on individual responsibility, God, and morals. It is obvious that Liberals in office are going to raise taxes which Obama has made clear for 2012, which will raise the cost of gas as well because oil companies are going to have to pay more, hurting the economy more. They have also expanded the government to the largest we have ever seen (more than Bush and he was called a Communist by Liberals) and that is a fact.

@liennto Additionally, liberal democrats have a very skewed version of liberalism. For instance, the libertarians are conservatives, and much much much more liberal than democrat liberals. Liberals is a play on the word liberation, while suprisingly, liberal democrats like the opposite of liberation.
