Gamma ray bursts (a typical burst releases as much energy in a few seconds as the Sun will in its entire 10-billion-year lifetime) and extremely rare (a few per galaxy per million years). 2704 BATSE Gamma Ray Burst map is clear evidence of what you would have to contend with while in space. The map appears to be dotted in a uniform fashion, filling the entire map actually. Was the apollo space craft shielded against gamma ray bursts in 1969?

@Daddyo930 Believing in Apollo is not about believing govt propaganda,it`s about simple evidence.Firstly I`m a Brit.secondly I`m very left wing politically.I agree with virtually none of US govt policy.I`m hardly a govt "shill".The Apollo missions,however,are above politics.They simply are one of mankinds greatest achievements.They should be celebrated as such,regardless of your opinion on US govt policy,either then or now.I similarly salute the soviets space achievements-Sputnik,Gargarin,­LUNA!

Regarding the USSR.1969 was the height of the cold war.Both sides tracked each others missions.The USSR had the means, motive etc to expose the US`s "lies".Is it feasible that they just allowed their hated rivals to claim a huge PR victory in the cold war,when exposure would`ve been a huge blow to the U?As marxists they believed it was historically certain they would win the cold war and rule the world

@Daddyo930 With respect,you didn`t answer my points.Are you now the worlds most expert radiologist,able to see the "errors" in NASA`s data where 1000s of qualified experts failed? Or is it that the entire worlds qualified radiologists are all "in on " the "plot?". By simple logic it has to be one or the other.If it`s the former,how long have you beeb studying advanced radiology? If it`s the latter,why would Chinese,Russian/soviet,Indian,­European radiologists help the US keep their "hoax" going?
