This is my 2009 cover of Gary Numan's hit 'Cars' from 1979, it's unfinished I still need to do a vocal track obviously and it needs proper mixing, this is just a rough copy, will upload the finished thing as soon as it's done, i'm also doing a cover of 'Are 'Friends' Electric?' also by Gary Numan, if anyone has any other New Wave, Synthpop or Electropop suggestions then feel free to comment :)

P.S. for those who are wondering I did this on Cubase SX a MIDI & Audio sequencer. I used Hypersonic instruments, this included Super Saw for the main riff, 21st Century Live Drums for the percussion, FM Tube for the bass and Overtones for the intro & counter melody at the end.

  • I like it!

  • I like this

  • Lmao go on then, link me when you're done, you seem to have the misconception that I care haha

  • I can play better and I will play better, ass wipe I'll put up my own video you jerk.

  • It's not played incorrectly, it's in the right key and all the right notes are played i spent a lot of time learning the piece and then alot of time creating this, so how about you fuck off and see if you can do better.

  • It's played incorrectly too, is that what you want to hear!! God just take the damn criticism/complement, thanks for thumbs down.

  • Not that I can't take criticism but it is in time because it's quantized and most of the parts were drawn in on cubase and what was played in live was edited to be on the right beats. Don't get what you mean by being played too sharply though.

  • This out of time and a played a little too sharply, still good though I really like your cover of Are Friends Electric.
