Dems SHARE responsibility for creating conditions over the last thirty years that lead to this. But, republican deregulation goes all the way back to 1982. Carter started it to jumpstart the economy in 1980. Reagan/H.W. Bush extended it with a repub congress. Clinton extended it with a repub congress. W. Bush further deregulated with a Rep congress. In fact, regulation on the housing market and predatory lending market didn't get introduced UNTIL 2007 when Dems took over. Pay attention.
