Andreas Stenschke is a well-known actor, director and writer in Germany, best known for starring on the TV series Die Anrheiner for 7 years. THANKS so much! US actors need to stand strong! It's not greed. AMPTPA (the producers) want to take all the profits from Internet, Ipods, cell phones, (new Media). This is basically what happened when we the consumers started buying video/DVD's. Actors barley get a cent from the sell of those, literally. AMPTPA's argument was as is now no one knows the profits that will be made if any. Well tons are and they know it. Billions have already been made and not shared.
i got the link from here wikipedia . org /wiki / 2008_Screen_Actors_Guild_strik e but i just started reading it hehe, and yeah it appears to be like some kind of association betwen actors... i just hope not all of them :s
Here's the thing: nobody in germany cares about the writers strike. a vast majority doesn´t even know about it. only the people in the media business know about it. none cares or even notices it...90% couldn´t tell you who oprah winfrey is...so i guess the records straight...huh?
