This is the same son who plays the young "Clayton Poole" in the flashback scene in Rock-a-bye Baby where he sings his love song to his crush "Carla Naples." I think Connie Stevens was discovered in that film.

it was a good descision to cut this scene from the film, not only was it not funny, but jerry certainly didn't need any more attacks from the press about his ego and conceit, even getting his son into the act.

Connie Stevens was hot, but she was not in "Nutty Professor." Stella Stevens was in this, and she was even hotter.

It's easy to see why this did not make it into the final cut. The movie is a comedy and this scene is not the least bit funny.
